The Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology in Pfinztal near Karlsruhe is researching technical plastics, fibre composites and hybrid material systems for practical use in its "Polymer Engineering" product area. Based on close networking in Fraunhofer thematic alliances, excellent contacts abroad, and cooperation with the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology KIT, system solutions are realized from a single source: from polymer synthesis to materials engineering, plastics processing, component development and production, and recycling. During the tour of the institute, visitors will have the opportunity to gain an insight into the research activities.
On the evening before the conference participants have the opportunity to meet in a restaurant and network. The dinner has to be paid by the participants themselves.
