Registration and Cancellation Conditions

The General Terms and Conditions of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Materialkunde e.V. as well as the following separate registration and cancellation conditions for the event apply.

Registration Requirements

Included in the participation fee (unless otherwise stated):

  • Participation in the conference
  • Drinks and lunches during breaks
  • Visit to the exhibition
  • Participation in the convivial evening

By registering, authors and participants agree to their publication in the online participant directory.

For Presenting Authors

With the submission of an abstract and the receipt acknowledgement by the conference office, speakers will be pre-registered for the conference. After the submission deadline, abstracts will be evaluated and confirmed by Dezember 2019.

After the confirmation, each speaker will receive an invoice that must be settled two weeks after receipt, otherwise abstracts may not be considered in the programme.

A processing fee of 25% of the participation fee will be charged if a registered participant is unable to attend the conference. Cancellation must be made in writing by 1st March 2020, after which the full participation fee will be charged. However, a substitute participant may be named.

For Participants

Upon registration authors and delegates agree to be published in the online "List of Participants".
